To start of, just this week I lost my cellphone while I was on a jeep on the way to my ate’s school. I think I have more BV to say before that happened but I already forgot it.

Anyways, yesterday all COM and JOU students of our school went to the 3rd ICCS Convention at UP Diliman. We saw Mel Tiangco,Susan Enriquez,Steve Dailisan,Maki Pulido and other well-known journalists.

There are some parts that are boring and you would totally wanna sleep but I tried not to sleep because I want and I need to hear lectures,stories and tips from them and ofcourse, I went there to listen to their lectures and not to sleep. But sadly, I sleep a bit when they made us watch the top 3 documentary films. I felt asleep on the winner’s part . The “DILAW” docu part.

Its not that im not interested about a kid who suffers from a rare health problem. Its just that I was really sleepy and their background music made me more sleepy. LULZ.

But to be honest, I wanted  ”Prosti sa Basura”  to win the docu making. “DILAW” didnt catch my attention(one of my reasons why I fell asleep). I think “Prosti sa Basura will win if they made their docu CLEAN. Maki Pulido commented on their work that they should have interviewed the girls on a different place. I think she was interested on the docu but as what she want to totally said and what me thinks that they should have made their docu CLEAN. No flaws.

I hope and wish next time that ill be the one lecturing and teaching students about media communication and journalism. Haha! 4 more years to go ;)

I wanna ask you guys what do you use when you wash your face? I mean, do you use soap? or facial wash?

I want to share with you guys my experience when I onced washed my face using a soap.

It was the day when we went to visit baby Jheia at the hospital. I dont really wash my face at night; I only wash it at night when I wear make-up the whole day and sometimes when I just want to. When we were at the hospital we talked about ghost and all that scary stuff. Im a bit of a scaredy-cat, so I told my mother that I will just wash my face there at the hospital room cause theres no mirror in there. (…stories about mirrors and ghosts! haha!) I have no choice but to use a soap cause they didnt have a facial foam there. The next day, I got a zit. One big ugly zit. I swear never to use that kind of soap again. Anyways, its all my fault! haha! The soap was meant for the body and not on face.

Note to self/advice to others: If you have no choice just dont use a body soap. Just wash it with water. According to my own research it wont hurt if you skip 2 or 3 times forgetting to wash your face full of make-up chemicals; And oh yeah! according to my own research its not advisable to wash your face twice a day unless you have exposed it to excessive dust and pollution. :D

Anyways I deleted igeneve on wordpress im moving it to tumblr. Im  such a copycat eh? Haha! :P

Hey! Its me! A much GV side of me. Now I can finally blog about the things that keeps me busy for the last two weeks of March.

First, I already got a “tungkulin” in our church. I started in March 20. Being with kids is soo not boring. A bit of makukulits but still they give me GV every saturday :)

Second, major movie marathon. Went to watch Alice in Wonderland 3D twice then after a week went to watch How to train your Dragon on IMAX 3D.

IMAX 3D is super duper awesome! How I wish every movie will be on IMAX 3D. What I love about the IMAX 3D Theatre is the reserved seating scheme. Oohlala…

Awesome movie! I love White Queen! She is soo maarte! Haha!I also loove the scene where the Red Queen was asking for a pig. The pig is soo cute!

How to train your Dragon

My 1st IMAX 3D movie experience! I love Toothless! He looks like a dog! I dunno if its still on IMAX. Super duper great animated film! Go watch it if you wanna know why Hiccup named the dragon Toothless. Haha!

Hi guys! Sorry for still not returning comments. I was bloghopping since last week but still not returning comments. Super duper sorry for being such a b*tch. Ive been thru a busy and depressing week. Our pet arowana died last wednesday. You can read my private journal here. I promise to you guys, when im back with a very great mood ill definitely return comment.

So how are you guys? Who felt the earthquake yesterday?

For me it was a strong earthquake but for my mother who experience the 1990 Luzon Earthquake(7.8 magnitude) it was not that strong. For her it was just an intesity 4 or 3 which is right.

Thank God there were no damage nor casualties reported. The 6.1 magnitude earthquake happened yesterday at exactly 1:29 to 1:30 pm. The epicenter of the quake was traced at Lubang Island, Occidental Mindoro.

I was on my bed when the quake struck. I got dizzy then after that major headache. I took 2 biogesic tablets yesterday to ease the pain and I went to bed super duper early. Im a bit fine now but not totally fine.

Help make a difference

Im promoting EARTH HOUR. Yesterday on our church ( yes I went to church with a major headache) our “ministro” told us to participate on tomorrow’s earth hour. Our house participated last year’s earth hour and ofcourse were participating again. If you care about the future then participate. Lets all make a difference.

Why get involved?

Put simply, because our future depends on it!

Earth Hour has done a lot to raise awareness of climate change issues. But there’s more to it than switching off lights for one hour once a year. It’s all about giving people a voice on the future of our planet and working together to create a sustainable low carbon future for our planet.

1. Grow a green thumb

Its not too late to love Mother Nature right? Its the best time of the year to do some green lovin. Go to the nearest garden shop and buy some seeds. Create your little garden on your frontyard/backyard! Ask your mom or your sister to do it with you. Great bonding time with your mom and sis!

2. Fly a kite

When was the last time you flown a kite? Cant remember? Then this summer would be the best time to do it again! Fly your kite on the beach or an open field.

3. Play games

When I say games I was referring to board games and not online games okay? Clean your dusty board games and go play it with your sibs! I recommend you play monopoly and games of the general/salpakan.

4. Ride a bike

Again when was the last time you rode your bicycle? I bet even on weekends you havent got the chance cause of homeworks and etc. Ask your friends to go cycling with you! Doing this is  more awesome than chatting with each other online.

5. Halo-halo anyone?

Go buy the ingredients and make “halo-halo”! haha! You can also make profit from it too by selling it to your neighbors but if you dont want to tire yourself from making it then be the one who will be buy it! Your summer wont be complete without eating a “halo-halo”! Youll crave for it this summer! I swear! Haha! In my case I can crave for it and eat it the whole year round. We have Digman’s Halo-halo here in Cavite! Haha! Yummy andTasty Halo-halo! They also have home-made siopao which I totally loove! Haha!

6. Have a picnic

You dont need much much money on having a picnic. You just need food and a good spot on the best picnic spot.

7. Develop a new talent

Be it singing,dancing or even writing. Who knows? You might be the next Stephenie Meyer! Nothing is impossible.

8. Start “Project Summer”

If you guys have “Project 365″ then do a “Project Summer 2010″! Took wonderful pics each day of your summer days.

9. Revamp your room

Took the trash out, color your walls and decorate that room of yours!

10. Clean your closet and donate some of your clothes

Remember Typhoon Ondoy and Pepeng victims? They lost everything during the typhoon even their clothes. Admit it, you dont need/use all your clothes. Pick the ones that doesnt fit you anymore or the ones that you dont wear anymore. Make sure that the clothes youll donate can still be use by others.

Whatcha think? Cool tips right? Heehee! Im not saying you should do all this things. (but ofcourse if you want then do so! =D )

You can do 2 to 3 things written in here if you cant accomplish it all. I also got a tip for those who will have long and cool trips!!!

Make a Summer 2010 scrapbook! Collect and put everything in it! Amusement park ticket stubs, Restaurant tissue with the restaurant name on it( ofcourse unused!haha), price tag of your swimsuit and etc! Ofcourse dont forget to take pictures, print it and put it on your scrapbook.
